The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, May 15 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be grateful to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will meet with a drug dealer. Plus, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will arrive in New York City. And Phyllis will worry, when Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) goes missing.
Y&R spoilers tease Holden will tell Claire it means a lot that she’s in New York with him. Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will come to the hotel room and say Cane’s stem cells have been harvested. She’ll add that the courier with the cells is on its way.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Matt Can’t Handle Being Cooped Up For Long
Stephanie will leave and Claire will tell Holden it’s okay to worry about Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), he’s his dad. Holden will ask Claire about her own journey and she’ll start talking about meeting her mom and dad. She’ll tell Holden she really misses her dad and he’ll hold a weeping Claire in his arms. Holden will thank Claire for being there for him and they’ll kiss.
Meanwhile, Lily will ask Cane how he’s feeling and he’ll say like he got hit by a truck. She’ll call him a big baby and they’ll joke around about how he’d always complain when he got sick. Lily will tell Cane she’s happy he’s doing this for Malcolm . She’ll add that she sees the man she fell in love with is still in there.
She’ll call Holden, who will tell her his mom says Malcolm is in high spirits and she’ll thank her half-brother for being there for him. Lily will tell Holden she’s leaving for the airport and she’ll see him soon. Then she’ll lean down and kiss a surprised Cane.
In his GCAC suite, Matt will tell Phyllis he appreciates everything she’s doing for him, but he’ll be surprised that she’s being so nice. He’ll also admit he feels a little cooped up and suggest they leave the suite. “No, we’re not doing that,” Phyllis will reply. “You don’t know what the Newmans have against you, so just lay low.”
Matt will agree to stay put and they’ll discuss his flashbacks. He’ll tell Phyllis once he gets his memory back, he hopes there’s someone out there that cares about him. Matt will continue to thank her and Phyllis will have a guilty look on her face, as she leaves the room.
Downstairs, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will tell Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) that Phyllis has Matt Clark, who has amnesia. Phyllis will arrive and say she knows everyone says Matt’s evil and dangerous. “But the guy I’m talking to is none of those things.”

Lauren will worry that Matt is getting to her. But Phyllis will say he’s a means to an end and that’s all. When Michael encourages her to take Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) deal, she’ll storm off and head up to Matt’s room. Phyllis will knock on the door but he won’t answer. So, she’ll use a maid’s room key to walk inside. But Matt won’t be there.
At the park, Nick will buy drugs from a dealer and take one right away. He’ll head to the ranch and sit on a bench outside, sweating. So he’ll take another pill. When he walks inside, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will wonder if they can trust Phyllis’ word.
Nick will say she’s desperate, who knows what she’ll do. “She either agrees to our terms or she goes to prison,” Adam will reply. “It’s as simple as that.” Victor will arrive and Nick will beg him to take the deal. But Adam will disagree with his brother. “We have Phyllis on the run, she’s bound to see there’s no way out.” And unfortunately for Nick, Victor will agree with Adam.
Finally, Nick will show up at the GCAC and he’ll ask Lauren and Michael if they’ve seen Phyllis. They’ll say she went up to her room. But she’ll come downstairs and Nick will demand she hand Matt over to him.
Phyllis will say she hasn’t agreed to Victor’s terms. “Forget what my dad’s asking for, I will convince Christine to drop all charges against you if you hand Matt over to me.” But will Phyllis agree to do so?
